WW - Heuer Chronograph retailed by Aerotel, ref 345, manual wind, 35mm x 42mm to lug tips, 17mm lug width, original stainless steel snap back case with oval pushers, black leather strap, original Aerotel signed two-tone white and silvered dial with black painted Arabic numerals, three inset subregisters for minute recording, hour recording and subsidiary seconds, 15J cal 71, case and mvt signed Ed. Heuer, s#39455, triple signed. A lovely early Heuer contract watch made for Aerotel out of California, with all of its original fixings, truly a must-have for the early Heuer collector. CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, chronograph functions and resets properly, fine-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, medium oxide to steelwork, ample toning and fine scratches to plates and chronograph mechanism; excellent dial with even darkened fade and light surface spotting; excellent blued steel hands; polished case shows light wear, case retains some of its original factory finishing on the backs of the lugs, several light dings on case back and lugs as well as a light spot of porosity; crown shows little wear; good plastic crystal.
